Issue

Shibuya's Once-in-a-Century Urban Transformation

Between 2023 and 2025, the opening of four new facilities in the Greater Shibuya Area will significantly reshape the city’s landscape and way of life.

While Shibuya’s globally recognized urban development is often seen as just building new spaces or facilities, each project plays a crucial role and holds the potential to shape the future.

At PROJECT LIFE LAND SHIBUYA, we focus on the people—the smallest yet most essential unit of any community. By sharing stories and initiatives created together with individuals, we aim to design communication that inspires a stronger personal connection to Shibuya for everyone involved.

Creation

Engaging the People of Shibuya

With the slogan “Start with People,” we share inspiring projects happening in Shibuya through its constituents.

As part of the branding efforts, we developed copy, a logo, key visuals, and a brand movie. The visuals and movie feature key figures from various fields active in Shibuya, capturing the excitement for what’s to come.

We also launched an owned media platform to share articles highlighting Shibuya’s growth and energy, driven by the people shaping its future.
