Issue
Why Do Great Ideas Emerge?
When organizations approach Konel or Chizai Zukan, the most common questions are:
・How can we generate better ideas?
・How do we turn those ideas into reality?
At first, these questions validated our role as creators, but over time, they became our inquiry. This led us to analyze and systematize the balance between imagination and execution, shaping the foundation of this book.
Creation
Forecast + Backcast
Focusing too much on execution can limit imagination, while unrestrained ideation can make realization impossible. To bridge this gap, we introduce DUAL-CAST, a method that combines Forecasting (predicting trends) and Backcasting (working backward from a visionary goal).
DUAL-CAST helps companies move beyond a closed, in-house approach, instead leveraging technology, market issues, and corporate vision to build partnerships and drive projects forward. By visualizing and prototyping ideas, businesses can get engagement, provoke reactions, and advance toward implementation.
Future
A Ready-to-Use Toolkit
To make DUAL-CAST accessible to as many innovators as possible, we have published the first half of the book for free on note. Additionally, we offer a Miro workshop template for those interested. Contact us to explore and apply this method.
