A New Form of Street Art and an Open Playground for Everyone
SCAN THE WORLD (STW) is an ongoing project led by artists Kenta Ishige and BIEN, focused on capturing urban landscapes using handheld scanners. Through discussions with the artists and a deeper understanding of the project, we created a website as an interactive art piece.
Issue
Bringing a Digital Experience to an Art Project
This project was developed alongside STW’s solo exhibition “NEWGAME” at the 21st Century Museum of Contemporary Art, Kanazawa. Designed as part of the exhibition, the website serves as a platform that bridges STW’s past explorations with future forms of play.
Creation
Expanding and Preserving Playground
The website enables users to upload their own scanned data and explore scans shared by others. By generating global connections through shared imagery and interactive experiences, we built a visually engaging and user-friendly platform.
Collaboration
Konel actively supports art projects through technology collaboration. For co-creation inquiries, please contact us.
