A New Experience with Snacks, Game Sheets, and an App
Reimagining Snack Time with Play
A new interactive product that lets you eat, think, and play. Snacks become tools, drawings, words, or even game pieces—there are no set rules, only the fun of discovering your way to play.

Should Food Be Off-Limits for Play?
Stretching mochi, wearing snacks on fingers, or experimenting with cooking—all highlight the playful nature of eating. If food is naturally fun to play with, why not design snacks with play in mind?
This idea led to the development of a product that transforms snack time into a moment of creativity.
Creation
Designing an Experience Where You Create the Rules
Instead of following pre-set rules, players are empowered to create their own. The experience was designed to be intuitive for all ages, with built-in hints to generate ideas.
The game sheet features familiar shapes and symbols for broad accessibility, while a web app enhances gameplay with interactive tools. By combining different colors, textures, and forms of snacks, the range of possible games expands.

Authentic Snacks from Traditional Makers
The snacks come from Shimakawa Ame-ten, a long-established confectioner in Toyama, and Mochitake, a Kyoto-based brand by Takenaka Seika. Made with simple, high-quality ingredients, these traditional flavors connect past and present generations.
Technology
A Simple App for Expanding Ideas
The accompanying app includes dice, a timer, a roulette, and sound effects to support gameplay. These tools help fine-tune game mechanics and enhance the overall experience.

Future
Brain Training Game That Brings Questions
Through playtesting and workshops with elementary school students, Kuu Neru Asobu has led to an unexpected variety of new games.
As AI advances, the ability to ask better questions is becoming more valuable than simply finding answers. This product encourages players to think like game creators, not just participants—sharpening creativity in a fun, engaging way.
Future plans include developing a platform for sharing user-created games and expanding into food education and business applications.
