A Night of Children's Literature

This event transformed Mikan Shimokita’s Sunabako into an immersive visual experience using its three-screen projection setup. Collaborating with children’s author Mariru Hasegawa, we created a unique opportunity to fully immerse in the unconventional world of children’s literature.

The experience extended beyond the theater, featuring themed merchandise, live readings by Shimokitazawa actors, custom drinks, and exclusive new illustrations inspired by the original stories. Every detail was designed to maximize immersion into the literary world.

ReBITA has long been developing shared rental housing under the concept of "A Place to Come Home to, Even When Living Alone."

Through countless encounters with residents from diverse backgrounds, one thought has always come to mind: "We want to collaborate with the people who live here." This event brought that idea to life.

Our goal was to create meaningful work together in a way that balances contributions from both sides, fostering new perspectives and opportunities for everyone involved.

The event featured live readings by Shimokitazawa actors, immersive three-screen projections with sound effects, original cocktails inspired by the works, and exclusive merchandise—all designed to bring the stories to life.
