Privacy Policy

Konel Inc. (hereinafter referred to as "the Company") will handle the personal information (hereinafter referred to as "Personal Information") of individuals, including users and viewers of the services operated by the Company (including websites and applications, hereinafter referred to as "the Service"), as well as job applicants and individual business partners (hereinafter collectively referred to as "the Individual"), in a safe and appropriate manner in accordance with the following Privacy Policy (hereinafter referred to as "this Privacy Policy"). ・A system is in place to protect devices handling personal data from unauthorized access and malicious software from external sources.

(Understanding External Environments)
・When storing personal data in Country A, the Company ensures that security management measures are implemented based on an understanding of that country’s personal information protection regulations.

Purpose of Use of Personal Information
The personal information obtained by the Company will be strictly managed and used within the scope of the purposes explicitly stated at the time of collection or within the following purposes, unless otherwise permitted by the Individual’s consent or as required by law.

Provision of the Service (including identity verification, user authentication, recording user settings, maintenance of the Service, and security management).

Email and newsletter distribution.

Responses to various inquiries and requests.

Analysis and improvement of the Service, as well as planning, research, and development of other Company products and services.

The Company may change the purpose of use of personal information within a reasonable scope that is deemed to be related to the original purpose of use. In the event of such a change, the Company will notify the Individual or publicly announce the updated purpose.

Proper Acquisition of Personal Information
The Company will acquire personal information in a lawful and appropriate manner and will not obtain it through deception or other improper means. Except as permitted by law, the Company will not acquire sensitive personal information (as defined in Article 2, Paragraph 3 of the Personal Information Protection Act) without obtaining prior consent from the Individual.

Provision of Personal Information to Third Parties
The Company will not provide personal information obtained to any third party without the Individual’s consent, except as permitted by law.

Provision of Personal Information to Third Parties Outside Japan
The Company will not provide personal information obtained to third parties outside Japan (including in cases of outsourcing or joint use) without obtaining the Individual’s consent to the "provision of personal data to third parties in foreign countries," except as permitted by law.

Creation and Retention of Records Related to Third-Party Provision
When the Company provides personal information to a third party, it will create and retain records in accordance with Article 29 of the Personal Information Protection Act.

11.

Verification When Receiving Personal Information from Third Parties
When receiving personal information from a third party, the Company will conduct the necessary verifications and create and retain records in accordance with Article 30 of the Personal Information Protection Act.

Our company may jointly use the personal information we have obtained as follows:

Handling of Anonymized Processed Information
Our company handles anonymized processed information as follows:

Processing of Personal Information
When creating anonymized processed information (meaning the information defined in Article 2, Paragraph 6 of the Act on the Protection of Personal Information and limited to databases, etc., that constitute anonymized processed information as defined in Article 16, Paragraph 6 of the same Act, hereinafter the same), we shall process personal information in accordance with the standards set forth in the regulations of the Personal Information Protection Commission.

b.

Measures for Security Management
When our company creates anonymized processed information, we shall take security management measures in accordance with the standards prescribed by the regulations of the Personal Information Protection Commission.

c.

Public Disclosure of Information Items
When our company creates anonymized processed information, we shall disclose the categories of personal information included in such anonymized processed information in accordance with the regulations of the Personal Information Protection Commission.

d.

Provision to Third Parties
When providing anonymized processed information (including that created by our company and that received from third parties, hereinafter the same unless otherwise specified) to third parties, our company shall, in accordance with the regulations of the Personal Information Protection Commission, publicly disclose the categories of personal information included in the anonymized processed information and the methods of provision in advance. Furthermore, we shall explicitly indicate to the recipient that the information being provided is anonymized processed information.

e.

Prohibition of Identification of Individuals
When handling anonymized processed information, our company shall not:
1. Match the anonymized processed information with other information to identify the individuals whose personal data was used to create it.
2. Obtain deleted descriptions, personal identification codes, or information regarding the methods used to process personal information under Article 43, Paragraph 1 of the Act on the Protection of Personal Information (this applies only to anonymized processed information received from third parties).

f.

Measures for Proper Handling and Complaint Processing
Our company shall take necessary and appropriate measures for the security management of anonymized processed information, handle complaints regarding the creation and other handling of anonymized processed information, and take necessary actions to ensure its proper handling. Additionally, we shall strive to disclose the details of such measures.

Methods for Disclosure and Other Requests Regarding Personal Information
If you wish to request disclosure, correction, suspension of use, cessation of provision to third parties, or disclosure of records of third-party provision of your personal information (hereinafter referred to as "Disclosure, etc."), or if you have any concerns regarding the handling of your personal information, please contact the following inquiry office.
After confirming that the request is made by the individual concerned, we will take appropriate action in accordance with applicable laws and regulations without delay.

Governing Law
The handling and management of personal information obtained by our company, as well as the validity and interpretation of this Privacy Policy, shall be governed by the laws of Japan.

Dispute Resolution
Any disputes related to the personal information obtained by our company and this Privacy Policy shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Tokyo District Court as the court of first instance.

Revisions
Our company will periodically review the operational status of personal information handling and strive for continuous improvement. We may modify this Privacy Policy, in whole or in part, as necessary. Any changes will be announced on our website.
