- An immersive literary experience
This event transformed Mikan Shimokita’s Sunabako into an immersive visual experience using its three-screen projection setup. Collaborating with children’s author Mariru Hasegawa, we created a unique opportunity to fully immerse in the unconventional world of children’s literature. The experience extended beyond the theater, featuring themed merchandise, live readings by Shimokitazawa actors, custom drinks, and exclusive new illustrations inspired by the original stories. Every detail was designed to maximize immersion into the literary world.
- Nakahara Nyan Ken
Nakahara Nyan Ken is a prototyping project co-created by Fujitsu Design Center’s team Inspi-Lab and Konel. Its aim is to reinterpret Fujitsu’s advanced technologies from entirely new perspectives and create fresh points of connection between technology and society. Using the motif of cats as a medium, the project explores the future of technology with flexibility and imagination, transforming ideas into unique and approachable experiences. Konel is responsible for planning and developing experiential prototypes, while also utilizing its own media platform, Chizai Zukan, to share the project’s outcomes widely with society. Based in Musashi-Nakahara, Kanagawa Prefecture, where the Fujitsu Design Center is located, Nakahara Nyan Ken is an experimental research team that fuses diverse expertise and creativity to explore new relationships between emerging technologies and everyday life.

- Botac
With the opening of the Chūō Shinkansen (Maglev) in sight, urban redevelopment is progressing in Hashimoto, Sagamihara, Kanagawa Prefecture. The city promotes a vision called “Hashimoto—where the Linear connects people to a step-ahead future,” planning integrated development of the station and surrounding area. Against this backdrop, a collaborative project called Botac has launched, led by Keio Corporation, Green Display Co., Ltd., and Konel Inc.. By using plant-based power generation, the initiative reimagines the station as an environment that evolves through citizen participation. It serves as a symbolic project that aims to transform Hashimoto into a “laboratory for the future.”
