Born in Miyagi Prefecture, he entered the Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force High School in Etajima, Hiroshima, during high school. After two years of training, he shifted course and enrolled in the Business Administration program at Tokyo Metropolitan University. He joined Itochu Corporation in 2011, then moved to Boston Consulting Group in 2017. In 2018, he became the director of TENOHA MILANO, a cultural hub promoting Japanese culture in Milan, Italy, a role he held for nearly six years. Currently based in Europe, he supports the overseas expansion of Japanese companies, focusing on design, art, tourism, and food.
